The Physiotherapy Centre
We aren't just a kennels with a hydrotherapy centre,we also work along side vets and co ordinate with physiotherapists to ensure your dog gets the treatment it needs as quickly as possible.
We even have a dedicated room on site for Physiotherapy and holistic treatments.
Veterinary Physiotherapy is fast becoming an essential part of rehabilitation for dogs. It involves assessment and treatment techniques to prevent and manage a range of physical conditions, to promote healing and return to full function following injury or surgery and to treat pre-existing conditions such as arthritis or general ageing.
Where necessary we can offer intensive sessions of hydrotherapy, or a combination of hydrotherapy and physiotherapy, whilst a dog or cat is boarding to help speed up the recovery time and get them back on their paws quickly. It can be hard caring for a sick animal while life carries on around you this way we can do all the hard work and hopefully return to you a pet that has made significant improvements so both of your lives are easier. This is one method we have adopted with dogs from the Dogs trust in the past and it has greatly improved their quality of life in a very short time scale.
Expert assessment, treatment, advice and a home programme specifically designed for
each individual animal is also provided. As well as teaching owners hands-on techniques,
it can give advice that can make a real difference in the rehabilitation process
and long-term management of a condition.
